January 2011 - Steve Walton promoted to Operations Manager

Now that we have extended our team it allows Steve to concentrate on learning the some of the more intricate and commercial aspects of the business. We would like to wish Steve good luck in his new role.

October 2010 - High Viscosity HEC launched:

We had delayed stocking a high viscosity HEC while we developed a product with a high enough quality for our exacting standards. This product finally became available following a lot of development work, and we launched it in October 2010. This grade will be kept in stock to compliment the rest of the HEC range.

June 2010 - Jane Denton joins Chemcolloids:

Jane has joined the Chemcolloids team as Quality Assistant, conducting the day to day quality tasks and assisting Steve Walton with our quality procedures and system. We would like to welcome Jane to the team.

March 2010 - Simon Mason joins Chemcolloids:

We would like to welcome Simon Mason to the Chemcolloids team, who joins us in the role of Commercial Administrator.

March 2010 - Xanthan Gum ranges expanded:

In April Chemcolloids will launch its EcoXan range – a no nonsense grade of Xanthan Gum that is primarily aimed at industrial applications where an economical grade is the leading requirement. However, this grade will also be fully approved for food use. See our Products pages for more information.

March 2010 - Food Grade HPMC and MC stock range launched:

Chemcolloids have been supplying MC and HPMC to order, but long lead times due to manufacturing and shipping haven't been ideal. In order to combat this, we have decided to stock a range of MC and HPMC. Initially the range will be limited and the quantities fairly small, but as this develops we will be increasing the range and the quantities held. More frequent ordering of small quantities at this stage will improve lead times.
